Shipping policy
1. General
This Shipping Policy applies to all orders placed on the Chamunda Nursery online store. Chamunda Nursery ships live plants, pots, soil and potting mixes, fertilizers, seeds, tools and other gardening products within India and, in some cases, bulk export orders outside India. By placing an order, you agree to the terms below.
2. Order processing time
Most prepaid orders are processed and packed within 1–3 business days after payment is received.
During peak seasons, festivals, sales or bad weather, processing may take a little longer.
Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next working day.
If there is any unexpected delay in processing your order (for example, stock issue or courier restrictions to your pin code), we will try to inform you by email or phone.
3. Shipping methods and delivery time – India
We ship using trusted courier partners and surface/air services depending on the destination and product type.
Metro and major cities (within India): usually 3–7 business days after dispatch.
Other locations / remote areas: usually 5–10 business days after dispatch.
These are estimated timelines only. Actual delivery time can vary based on courier operations, local conditions, holidays and factors outside our control. Chamunda Nursery is not liable for delays caused by the courier or external events, but we will support you in tracking the shipment.
4. Shipping charges
Shipping charges, if any, are shown at checkout before you complete your order.
For some pin codes or heavy / bulky orders (large pots, big plants, bulk soil, etc.), shipping charges may be higher and will be displayed at checkout.
Any free‑shipping offers or minimum order value conditions will be clearly mentioned on the website or during promotions.
5. Packaging and perishable products
Live plants and fragile products are packed with extra care using protective material, ventilation holes and moisture‑retaining media where required. Despite our best efforts, minor soil displacement or a few broken leaves can occur during transit and is considered normal.
Because plants and some gardening products are perishable, it is important that:

You are available to receive the delivery at the address provided.

You open the package immediately on arrival and follow basic care instructions (watering, light, repotting if needed).
Chamunda Nursery is not responsible for damage that occurs because the package was not collected, was left unattended, or was opened late after delivery.
6. International / bulk export orders
For bulk or export orders outside India, shipping options, transit time, documentation and charges will be discussed and confirmed individually by email or written agreement before order confirmation.
Customs duties, import taxes, quarantine checks and any local charges in the destination country are the responsibility of the buyer, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Some products (especially live plants, seeds or fertilizers) may not be allowed to be imported into certain countries due to local regulations. It is the buyer’s responsibility to check import rules before placing an order.
7. Address accuracy and failed delivery
Please ensure that your shipping address, pin code and contact number are complete and accurate.
If an order is returned to us due to an incorrect address, repeated delivery attempts, or refusal to accept the parcel, we may deduct two‑way courier charges and any handling fees from any refund or store credit, if applicable.
Re‑shipping of such orders will be subject to additional shipping charges and our confirmation.
8. Order tracking
Wherever possible, we provide a tracking number and courier name once your order is dispatched, which you can use to track the shipment on the courier’s website or tracking page. For some local deliveries or special shipments, tracking may be limited but we will update you on status on request.
9. Damage, loss or wrong item received
Please carefully inspect your package at the time of delivery. If you receive:

A damaged product,

A wrong item, or

A plant in severely damaged or dead condition on arrival,
contact us within 24 hours of delivery at info@chamundanursery.in with your order number, clear photos of the product and outer box, and a brief description of the issue.
Our team will review the case as per our Return & Refund Policy. In approved cases, we may offer a replacement, store credit or refund at our discretion. Orders reported after the specified time or without proper photos may not be eligible.
Chamunda Nursery is not responsible for:

Minor cosmetic damage that does not affect use (small chips in clay pots, small leaf loss, soil displacement).

Damage caused by customer handling, wrong care, or delay in opening the parcel after delivery.
10. Change or cancellation of shipping after dispatch
Once an order has been dispatched, we generally cannot change the shipping address or cancel the shipment. Any request will depend on the courier’s rules and may not be guaranteed. Additional charges (if any) will be borne by the customer.
