Refund policy
Thank you for shopping with Chamunda Nursery. Because we sell live plants and fragile gardening products, our return and refund policy is a bit different from a normal fashion or electronics store. Please read it carefully before placing your order.
1. Products that cannot be returned
Due to the nature of our products, we do not accept returns or exchanges on the following items:

Live plants (indoor, outdoor, flowering, foliage, succulents, etc.)

Seeds and bulbs
-
Potting mixes, fertilizers, pesticides and other garden chemicals
-
Sale items, combo offers and gift cards
These items are perishable or can be affected by handling and storage conditions after delivery, so they cannot be restocked or resold safely.
2. When we will help with replacement or refund
Even though we do not take normal returns, Chamunda Nursery will help if there is a genuine issue with your order. Please contact us within 24 hours of delivery if:

The product is received damaged or broken (for example, cracked pot, major transit damage).

You receive the wrong product compared to what you ordered.

A live plant is received in severely damaged or dead condition on arrival.
In such cases, please email us at info@chamundanursery.in with:

Your order number

Clear photos of the product, packaging and shipping label

A short description of the issue
Our team will review the photos and details. If the issue is approved, we will offer one of the following, at our discretion:

Free replacement of the same or similar product (subject to availability), or
-
Store credit / coupon of equivalent value, or
-
Refund to the original payment method.
3. Conditions where we cannot offer a refund
We cannot offer refund, replacement or return in the following situations:

The plant or product was healthy at delivery but later got damaged due to improper care, wrong potting, over/under watering, sunlight issues, pests, etc.

Minor variations in colour, size, height or number of leaves/flowers, because plants are natural and each one is unique.

Natural ageing of plants, seasonal changes, or slight soil displacement during transit that can be easily corrected.

Requests raised after 24 hours of delivery for live plants or fragile products.

Orders where the customer refuses to accept the package at the time of delivery without any valid reason.
4. Return shipping (only if we ask for return)
In most cases of damaged or wrong product, we will not ask you to ship the product back; photos are enough. If we specifically request you to return an item:

We will share the return instructions and the address.

The item must be packed securely in its original or similar protective packaging.

The product must be in the same condition as received.

Returns sent without our prior confirmation will not be accepted.
5. Refund timelines
Once we confirm that you are eligible for a refund or store credit, we will process it within 7–10 business days.
Refunds to your original payment method may take additional time depending on your bank or card provider.
If you do not receive the refund even after 15 business days from our confirmation, please contact us at info@chamundanursery.in with your order details.
